Project: South Auxerre Link Viaduct, France

Another milestone has been reached above the Ru de Vallan valley! With the installation of the final pier cap, our teams have now completed their work on the supports of the future South Auxerre Link viaduct.

A key structure on this new road link, this 220-metre-long composite twin-girder viaduct will comprise three spans, two architecturally designed piers and two abutments. Its reinforced concrete deck will notably include 171 precast slabs.

A project as technically challenging as it is spectacular, designed to cross the valley while limiting its impact on a particularly sensitive natural environment.

For our teams, one chapter is now complete… but the story isn’t over yet! See you in 2027 for the next stage: the supply and installation of the deck reinforcement.

Congratulations to our teams for their excellent work, and thank you to Spie Batignolles for their trust.
